Directly support communities in need by recommending a grant from your JCF fund to one of the following organizations:
- Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles: They have established a dedicated Wildfire Relief Fund to address the urgent needs of the Jewish community impacted by the fires. This includes providing temporary housing, food, and other essential resources.
- Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation: This organization provides essential resources and support to the firefighters on the front lines, ensuring they have the equipment and tools they need to combat the fires effectively.
- UJA-Federation of New York: UJA-Federation of New York has established a Disaster Relief Fund to support those affected by the California wildfires. They are working with local partners to provide critical aid, including emergency housing, food, and counseling services.
