JCF 2019 Annual Report

2019 Annual Report

It is our pleasure to share with you the 2019 Annual Report. In Fiscal Year 2019, JCF Fundholders recommended 63,000 grants totaling $456 million–another record-breaking year of growth.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for choosing JCF to facilitate your charitable giving. By giving through this vibrant network of Jewish philanthropists, you have a profound impact on charities in every sector.

It is our network of Fundholders that enabled JCF to make grants from our endowment, the Special Gifts Fund, of $985,000 in fiscal year 2019 to support a food bank at the Sid Jacobson JCC; to renovate swimming pools at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds at Pearl River; to expand a program for Holocaust survivors at the Edith and Carl Marks JCH of Bensonhurst; to help Met Council renovate its warehouse to provide more food to those in need; to provide scholarships; and to build an adaptive playground for Mishkon, a therapeutic housing program of the Jewish Board.

In choosing JCF to facilitate your charitable giving, you enable us to support Jewish programs and initiatives like these that change lives for the better.
